Alex Bregman signs with the Chicago Cubs and the Red Sox identity is still under review.
Can they contend with their new top tier pitching staff or do they need another bat to round out their offense?

Episode 21 - 11/3/2025 - World Series recap and Free Agency Discussion

By now we know that the Los Angeles Dodgers have achieved back to back World Series wins to take down the Toronto Blue Jays in a hard fought seven game battle of the wills.
Freddie Freeman, Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Will Smith could not be stopped despite best efforts from Max Scherzer, Kevin Gausman, Vladimir Guerrero, Jr and Bo Bichette who played their hearts out.
For the Red Sox, Garrett Crochet is a Cy Young finalist in the American League and Gold Gloves have been awarded to Ceddanne Rafaela and Wilyer Abreu for their performances,
Alex Bregman has opted out of the remaining 2 years of his deal and the Free Agent market grows with Kyle Schwarber, Tarik Skubal and Bo Bichette.
Where will 2026 take us?

Episode 20 - Recap of ALCS with the Mariners and the Blue Jays, Game 4 of the NLCS with the Dodgers and the Brewers

Games 4, 5, and 6 of the ALCS
Series is now tied and it all comes down to Game 7 in Toronto to decide it.
Up to this point, we’ve seen Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. awaken, combined with the spectacular performance from Max Scherzer and a grand slam from Eugenio Suarez.
In the NLCS, Shohei Ohtani has THREE HOME RUNS in Game 4 while pitching and getting 10 strikeouts!

Episode 19 - 10/13/2025 - Game 1 ALCS - Seattle Mariners at Toronto Blue Jays

Game 1 - Seattle beats Toronto - 3 to 1.
Kevin Gausman vs. Bryce Miller
A pitcher’s duel for the ages with each pitcher only giving up 2 hits after Seattle’s marathon 15 inning game at home against Detroit using every pitcher EXCEPT Miller.
George Springer has a home run on the first pitch of the game.
Can Cal Raleigh be stopped? He has another home run!
Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Alejandro Kirk and Addison Barger are all silenced at the Rogers Centre.
 

Episode 18 - 10/12/2025 - MLB Playoff Status - ALCS and NLCS rounds are set

Philadelphia Phillies fall to the Los Angeles Dodgers in tragic fashion on a costly error from Orion Kerkering.
Milwaukee Brewers advance to oust the Chicago Cubs in retribution for the departure of Craig Counsell.
The Toronto Blue Jays defeat the New York Yankees.
And the only MLB team to never appear in the World Series, the Seattle Mariners, with the power of Humpy’s victory in the Salmon Run, triumph in the 15th inning against the Detroit Tigers and Tarik Skubal.  
Aside from the payoffs, we’ll discuss potential free agents for the Boston Red Sox to consider as Craig Breslow, Sam Kennedy and Alex Cora assess the 2025 season.

Episode 17 - 10/05/2025 - Red Sox season ends in Wild Card Defeat from New York Yankees

After the triumph of Game 1 in Gotham City, the Sox young guns, Brayan Bello and Connelly Early, fall to Carlos Rodon and Cam Schlittler who were unstoppable.  We’re all still deep in our grief over this.  But could this be 2003 all over again?
Who is available in Free Agency to bolster the Boston roster and how will the MLB Playoffs wrap up.

Episode 16 - 10/1/2025 - Wild Card Game 1 - Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees

Recap of Cleveland Guardians vs. Detroit Tigers, Chicago Cubs vs. San Diego Padres, LA Dodgers vs. Cincinnati Reds and Boston Red Sox vs. NY Yankees.
Pitching was the name of the game with Garrett Crochet vs. Max Fried.  
Discipline at the plate from Ceddanne Rafaela, astute base running from Nick Sogard and the pinch hit prowess of Masataka Yoshida but the Red Sox in the lead.
Aroldis Chapman came back from a bases-loaded, no out, bottom of the ninth to close it out.
Will the Red Sox be as lucky in Game 2 with Brayan Bello pitching against Carlos Rodon?  Let’s see!
